Welcome to Judith Harrison Rag Rug courses Cumbria

I would like to invite you to Eden House on the edge of the Lake District to learn the artisan craft of rag rug making.

I have been involved in the making of rag rugs for years and am an accomplished tutor. I welcome commissions and sell my work at craft fairs and retail outlets. As well as teaching rug making at Eden House I also hold fortnightly classes for members of Carlisle U3A and occasional workshops at other venues.

Beginners are especially welcome as I feel strongly about making a contribution to the survival of the craft using many contemporary fabrics which may also appeal to a younger generation. I am by nature a calm and very patient person so that clients may be assured that their course time will be spent in a productive but relaxed and informal way.
